The Drive Days in-game event in Rocket League features limited-time game modes, an item shop packed with rare and painted cars, and all-new cosmetics, such as the ultra-sleek Redline car. Since the event will run until May 10, players have plenty of time to either participate in the challenges or peruse the shop.

Here is the information you need to know to unlock the Redline car and take advantage of the special offerings available in the event's Item Shop. The Step-by-Step Guide to Rocket League's Redline Car UnlockingThe brand new Redline battle car can be unlocked for no additional cost by completing the challenges presented during the Drive Days event. The challenges themselves are not particularly difficult, but gaining access to the Redline requires two separate actions.

Open the "View Challenges" tab from the main menu to view the available challenges, and then open the "Drive Days" page located at the bottom of the page to view the complete list of event challenges."Get 15 Assists in Online Matches while Using the Buffstuff Wheels During Drive Days 2023" is the challenge that must be completed to unlock the Redline.

Release the locks on the Buffstuff Wheels. Before you can begin looking for assists, you will first need to unlock and equip the "Buffstuff" wheels, which are also the prize for completing a Drive Days challenge: "During Drive Days 2023, earn 10 Saves or Epic Saves while competing in online matches."

In the game mode "Heatseeker," the ball will automatically barrel towards your net after each touch it receives from your opponent.

  • This makes it the simplest and quickest way to rack up Saves

  • I was able to make ten saves in a single game by simply sitting on my goal line and blocking the ball as it came closer to my net

  • Conveniently, Heatseeker is a limited-time mode for the Drive Days event (it will be replaced by Spike Rush on May 3), and you can use the "Play Heatseeker Doubles" button on this same page to queue into a match

  • This mode will be available until May 3rd

Once you have finished 10 saves, go back to the Event Challenges page, and on the Buffstuff wheels, click the "Claim" button to make them available for use. The next step is to make sure that the Buffstuff wheels are equipped. You can do this by selecting the "Equip Now" button on the unlock popup or by selecting the "Customize Car" option in the garage.

Release the Redline Car's LocksAfter you have equipped the Buffstuff wheels, the next step is to participate in 15 online matches and rack up 15 assists. This can be a challenging situation because you have to rely on your teammates to make the most of the opportunities you create for them by providing beautiful assists. If you want to generate these assists, I suggest playing Casual Doubles. I usually score one or two assists per Doubles match, so this could take some time.

After you have earned your assists and unlocked the Redline Car, make sure to use it in-game to complete the following challenges to unlock two more decals: To earn a Redline Huntress Decal, you must score 10 goals while using the Redline body during the Drive Days 2023 tournament. Earn 20,000 Experience Points while using the Redline body in Drive Days 2023 to qualify for the Flames Decal.

The Drive Days Automobile ShowIn addition to the unlocking of free cosmetics and limited-time game modes, the Drive Days event features a "Car Show" in the item shop, where players can purchase one of a dozen uniquely painted variants of a vehicle.

You can access the Car Show by going to the Item Shop and clicking on the Car Show tab, as shown in the following image. Although none of these automobiles is particularly well-liked among players of competitive games, the Car Show provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity to acquire less conventional car bodies with uncommonly painted trim. On May 5, all of the available activities at the Car Show will be updated with brand-new options.
